Prototype
A Prototype has been constructed out of MDF (Medium-density fibreboard). The prototype has allowed us to better visualize the location of components and check for additional alterations to the design.
The arm’s rotation base is powered by an Invenscience i00600 Torxis servo.
3 remotely controlled Foscam FI8910W cameras will stream wireless color and Inferred (night vision) video. Providing the operator with multiple adjustable views of the environment.
2 Werker 12 volt 20 amp-hour deep cycle batteries and 2 24 volt Invacare Storm 4500RPM electric motors.
The Sabertooth 2×60 regenerative motor controller for the drive motors.
Arduino Mega 2560 will be controlled remotely via an XBee S1.
